Eight new top-level domains (TLDs) have been launched by Google, including two based on file extensions, others that are valuable for academics, and one that may have a high potential for law firms.

Top Level Domains (TLDs)

The eight new TLDs are:

.dad
.phd
.prof
.esq
.foo
.zip
.mov
.nexus

.Esq top level domain

United States lawyers use the title “Esquire” to refer to themselves. So the .esq TLD is the best for lawyers in the United States. It has more commercial potential in Local SEO. City names with keywords are the best combination for local SEO. A local law firm can use this TLD to get more out of it.

For example newyork.esq, personallaw.esq, floridaaccident.esq

The security issue

.zip and .mov are file extensions. .zip is for compressed file format and .mov is for the video file format. Earlier these file formats are used for malware and trojans attack.
